Husome Named to IOWA AMPUTEE GOLF ASSOCIATION Board of Directors

Cedar Falls, Iowa (July 7, 2020) -- Cedar Falls native Steve Husome, President of Adaptive Golf Iowa was recently named to the Iowa Amputee Golf Association Board of Directors. The IAGA is a non-profit organization established to promote the game of golf to amputees across the state. The IAGA organizes an annual golf tournament in Des Moines, IA. attracting amputee golfers from all over the Midwest. Established in 1992, the IAGA provides an inclusive environment for players suffering from limb loss or limb difference as well as providing scholarships for qualifying students who apply each year.

Steve said that he looks forward to contributing to the continued successes already established of the Iowa Amputee Golf Association. He looks forward to continuing their work collaboratively to help promote the game of golf to amputees in Iowa.

“It is an honor to be named to the IAGA board, and I look forward to helping coordinate one of the best amputee golf tournaments in the country.”
